Karine studied at the University of Ottawa starting in September of 2006, to complete her Baccalaureate degree in Health Sciences in 2010. She continued to obtain her Master's degree in Physiotherapy in August 2012.
She has since moved back to Sudbury to gain some experience in the field by working at Health Sciences North on the orthopedic and neurosurgery unit. She had a brief adventure in New Liskeard, ON, during which she worked for the Community Care Access Centre, now known as LHIN Home and Community Care. She came back to her previous employment to be closer to family, in Sudbury. Along the way, Karine has participated in continuing education for a variety of neurological conditions, including Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Stroke. She continues to search for learning opportunities to nourish her professional growth.
She started this practice to offer a service that was not available in Sudbury. Karine has a passion for helping people who don't know where else to turn. She enjoys working with all types of neurological conditions, helping people regain their independence and confidence when moving around.
In her spare time, Karine enjoys spending time with her 2 boys. She enjoys fishing, quilting, painting and wood burning. She likes to challenge her own fitness levels by playing in the ninja gym and cross-country running.
