About Us - Our Practice

Neuro Physio was created in June 2016, operating out of a tiny 80 square foot office. The business had only one purpose: to help people living with neurological conditions by offering physiotherapy services to people living with Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Stroke, and Concussion. Slowly, our family started to grow. We started to see our clients graduate with inspiring success stories.

Neuro Physio Inc. was founded at the end of September 2018. This was when everything became more than a dream. The business became a corporation. As it grew, the business continued to have the same purpose: to help people living with neurological conditions move better and with confidence.

In 2019, we moved into our own facility which we still call home now. We hired our first staff members to expand our practice into orthopedic physiotherapy services and found that it has complemented our neurological approach well. We have a great team of physiotherapists, held together by an exceptional front desk staff member. We all share the same dream: to continue helping people move better and with confidence. Missions Statement

The mission of Neuro Physio is to offer local affordable rehabilitation to those affected by neurological, physical, pelvic, vestibular or chronic conditions. Many health professionals still believe that these conditions can't improve and that surgery or medication is the answer to most pain or mobility problems. Neuro Physio is here to disprove this belief. Using evidence-based practice from up-to-date research, this business allows people to find ways to improve their mobility, despite their expected poor prognosis. Neuro Physio wants to give hope to those who have lost it.

Our vision at Neuro Physio is to have an established rehabilitation facility where people living with neurological, vestibular or pelvic conditions or pain problems can find support, courage, and motivation.

We are dedicated to taking our time with you, using only treatment methods that have been proven to work for your particular problem.

We pride ourselves on our values of respect, privacy and hope.

Neuro Physio's dedication:

  • Identifying goals with our clients. We want to know what matters to you!
  • Ongoing communication with your physician or any other health professional involved in your care.
  • Keeping all patient information confidential and private.
  • No assistants: your entire session is with your physiotherapist.
  • Working hard to see you graduate from physiotherapy.
  • Using hands-on techniques and functional exercises to help you reach your goals.
  • No sitting on machines: let's move!
  • Celebrating your achievements when you become pain-free or able to gain confidence to move!

How do we do that?

With our physiotherapists, we have the experience and developed skills that allow us to do that. You receive direct hands-on care in a professional and friendly manner, which will make you feel like you’re family.

On your first visit with us, we'll make a list of problems and goals that are important to you. Once we've done that, we present a treatment plan that will help you achieve your goals. We want to make sure that you are ready to commit to your treatment. We're here to guide you, but you'll have to take charge of doing the work.

Our physiotherapists at Neuro Physio are experienced at uncovering how your problem is affecting your mobility. We are experienced at finding the real cause of your pain. Without identifying these things, treatment only addresses the symptoms of your problems with no lasting results.

Once per week, our staff participates in Mentorship time to discuss treatment approaches and hard-to-solve cases. We work together as a team to bring you the best possible care!

We send progress reports to your physician and keep them updated on your progress. We check progress each visit to make sure we are moving in the right direction.

You won't be left in the dark about your experience here. We'll treat you with respect from beginning to end, from the initial visit, to your last discharge visit.

That's how you treat a family member, and that's how we will treat you.
